Come join us during our quarterly meeting to network with your colleagues and learn about promoting health and wellness in acute care via the Lifestyle ReDesign model.

About the Presenter: Dr. Bruzzese is in his 8th year of practice as an Occupational Therapist. He received his master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Southern California and has been working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2015. He is currently interested in a Lifestyle ReDesign (R) model to promote early mobility in acute care and thus positively affect outcomes of patient health and wellness through habit, pattern, and routine change.                                                       

After this presentation, participants will:

• Be able to conceptualize occupational science as a basic science that informs/guides occupational therapy.
• Comprehend the Lifestyle ReDesign(R) model.
• Be able to identify treatment interventions occupational therapists can utilize in acute care to promote habit, pattern, and routine change for their patients.
