Free CE Course: Autism Brain TheoriesIn celebration of OT month and Autism Acceptance Month, TNOTA's pediatric Community of Practice (CoP) will host a FREE CE course titled "Autism Brain Theories". When: April 12, 2021 7pm central time Where: Aspire OT (via Go To Meeting) About the speaker: This course will cover information on common brain theories associated with autism spectrum disorder. Ellen Casale recently completed her Ph.D. in Special Education with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has years of experience as a special education teacher, autism specialist and diagnostician, and district-level special education coordinator. She has experience across most all disabilities but a focus on those school-age individuals with the most complex needs. Her research interests and work revolve around training critical stakeholders to better understand the federally-mandates special education processes for school age children. She is currently in the job market for a faculty position and is the owner of Casale Consulting, LLC. Course Objectives: Participants will be able to:
