2024 OT2 Scholarship Application Deadline

Applications Open June 1-August 1 

David and Tara McGuire are excited to continue their OT2 Scholarship this year. OT is a second career for David and this is something that he and Tara wanted to do to give back. They hope this helps alleviate some stressors as students pursue a second career as an OT or OTA. Tara and David went through this process and did it with a newborn too. The winner will receive a $1500 scholarship. Anyone pursuing an OT/OTA degree as a second career may apply, and this includes 1st or 2nd year students currently enrolled in an accredited OT/OTA program in the state of Tennessee. Applications are due August 1. The winner will be announced prior to TNOTA Conference. 

Requirements:

• Must be a TNOTA member
• Submit a copy of your CV
• Submit a 700 word essay on why you chose Occupational Therapy as a second career
