Live Continuing EducationIn addition to online continuing education opportunities, TNOTA is an approved provider of Tennessee-specific continuing education credits required to maintain licensure in Tennessee, including Ethics & Jurisprudence and suicide prevention training. TNOTA also offers Physical Agent Modality (PAMs) certification at a discounted price for members. According to the Rules of the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy (2018 version), a maximum of 12 continuing competence credits can be earned online. TNOTA provides our members with valuable in-person continuing education opportunities via our district meetings, workshops, and annual conference. TNOTA also provides qualifying volunteer and self-study activities which count toward continuing competence requirements. We are excited to announce that TNOTA has established a formal relationship with Alabama and Georgia, allowing TNOTA members to register and participate in any CE event (virtual or in-person) provided by Alabama Occupational Therapy Association or Georgia Occupational Therapy Association at their membership rate.
