Description of course:
If you feel hesitant to address your client's mental health needs, feel that addressing their mental health needs are not part of your role, or have a genuine interest in how mental health impacts all OT practice settings please join us to discuss how to Implement Mental Health into Daily Practice! Learning about various frameworks and models that can help you incorporate your client's mental health into daily treatment is the first step in tackling this task as well as learning real life examples of how to incorporate these skills.

Explain the general principles of the Recovery Model, Strengths-Based Model, and Trauma Informed Care

Understand how to incorporate those principles into existing practice models to increase focus on mental health

Improve confidence in addressing the mental health needs of clients across all settings

Free for members, $20 for non-members, 1 CEU hour
